CYCLES; FIRST IT'S WARM AND THEN IT'S TOO COLD.

i've been debating how personal i'd like to get here, how much to share, how much to hold back on. i'd like to live more authentically, that's part of why i'm here instead of on social media, but living authentically does mean accepting a level of vulnerability that is difficult for me even in private settings with my friends, recently. i am reluctant to be truly candid.

i've been feeling the urge to create more art now i have more or less disengaged from the social media content consumption machine. i'd like to read more books again, as well. i remember i used to tear through books. i'm not a big fan of reading on a screen and would prefer to read physical books where possible, but if i must play the digitized game, i'd like to get my hands on an e-reader. or an ipad. i've been needing an ipad for garageband anyway, for music production. ah, money. if only i lived closer to a public library!

the process of coding for this website is meditative and soothing. i hope to graduate past using templates and design my own layouts soon enough. i've been thinking of getting a raspberry pi, too. in case i'd like to really take the plunge into things like self-hosting, or learning python as well as HTML and CSS.

i saw a cat in my yard i hadn't ever seen before. a dilute tortie. she ran away when i stepped outside to greet her. i think she's the one buttons has been hissing at through the door some nights. next time i see her i hope i can make friends with her.

and here we have a blog page. i'm already really enjoying this. spending time online for a long time now has felt like endless psychic damage. this on the other hand feels creative, generative. like an outlet rather than an added source of stress. anyway, my boyfriend got me spyro reignited. i've really been enjoying it. i do wish i had a stronger computer so i could play on ultra though. it's just so pleasant to watch. it's everything a remake should be to me.

more importantly though i played through most routes of slay the princess recently and i feel so insane about that game. if i end up doing the shrine thing on here i'll definitely make one. i really want to get a lot of thoughts down about it later. and a playlist. i plan to make so many mixtapes on this page.
